How do we get started?
Have your child's PCM/PCP/diagnosing physician send us a referral via fax. This is the first step!
If you are covered by Tricare East, all ABA referrals for assessment must be approved through Tricare. Contact Tricare or your PCM for more information.
All Speech and Occupational Therapy referrals can come straight from the physician to our fax for all insurance carriers.
Once we get the referral, we can set up an initial assessment!
Once we complete the initial assessment, we will write up a treatment plan and make our service recommendations to be approved by insurance.
Once we are approved, we can begin services.
For private-pay clients, a referral is still needed to receive services.

How long does it take to start services once we get the referral?
Once we get the referral, we will schedule an intake assessment for evaluation. After the initial assessment, the provider will create a treatment plan with supporting information and recommendations. The treatment plan will first be approved and signed by the caregiver. Once the caregiver approves and signs the treatment plan, we will submit everything to insurance for approval. Each insurance company is different, and the duration of the approval process varies. Services can begin once insurance formal approves services.
How many hours will my Child get?
Every child is like a snowflake. The schedule is individualized to the client's needs. A licensed practitioner will schedule an intake assessment once a referral for services is received to make a service-level recommendation.
If my child needs multiple services, how will the schedule work?
All services will be built in during their normal scheduled-hours for scheduling and commuting convenience. Each client will still have individualized service-hour recommendations to assure their needs are met. Our scheduling department is careful to make sure every client receives what they need as long as we have the availability.
